About This Course
This driver improvement course is designed to help drivers revisit the core knowledge and skills of being a safe driver. Some of you in attendance may be here because you were ordered to attend by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles, a court, or in some cases, voluntarily. As required, this course will be eight (8) hours in length. Break periods will be given throughout.
Regardless of your reason for attending, we aim for this to be a refresher course revisiting information you may have learned in the past, as well as to provide updates for new laws and regulations.
The purpose of this course is to provide you with safety tips, information from the Virginia Driver’s Manual and real-life examples of both proper and improper driving, helping you to become a safer, smarter driver.
